The Historic Little Brown Church

  • The Little Brown Church

Walking into the Little Brown Church feels like stepping into a story. A landmark of the Maxwelton Valley for more than 100 years, the sanctuary offers seating for up to 120 guests in pews and in the choir loft. While most of our guests choose to have their ceremony in the meadow, The Little Brown Church offers peace of mind should inclement weather happen.

Since the first wedding on the property in 1908, hundreds of couples have held the Little Brown Church in their hearts as the starting point for the next chapter of their lives together.

It’s a space that naturally brings reverence and joy. Whether you want a traditional aisle walk, live music, or simply the hush of a quiet ceremony, this sanctuary makes every moment feel sacred.

  • Full Kitchen & Meeting Hall

Caterers love our clean and organized prep kitchen that offers a clear view of the entire property and plenty of counter space to plate your dishes. They can seamlessly and inconspicuously monitor your event, making sure that you have everything that you need exactly when you need it.

The Meeting Hall is an inviting indoor space for ceremonies, receptions, welcome gatherings — or simply an elegant backup for weather-sensitive days. And yes… it also makes an incredible groom’s preparation space. The guys can suit up, relax, and enjoy their own moment of calm before the festivities begin with three bathrooms, a full kitchen, a spacious meeting hall, and easy onsite parking for every guest, this venue is wonderfully accommodating and effortlessly practical.
