The Chapel
Walking into the Little Brown Church feels like stepping into a story. A landmark of the Maxwelton Valley for more than 100 years, the sanctuary offers seating for up to 150 guests in pews and in the choir loft. While most of our guests choose to have their ceremony in the meadow, the chapel of The Little Brown Church offers peace of mind should inclement weather happen.
Since the first wedding on the property in 1908, hundreds of couples have held the Little Brown Church in their hearts as the starting point for the next chapter of their lives together.
It’s a space that naturally brings reverence and joy. Whether you want a traditional aisle walk, live music, or simply the hush of a quiet ceremony, this sanctuary makes every moment feel sacred.
Tucked in the back of the chapel, the Wedding Party Suite is a comfortable option for the wedding party to settle in before the ceremony. With a mini fridge, mirrors, benches, stools, and plenty of room to spread out, it’s a relaxed space to share a quiet moment or a toast before the big day begins. A private bathroom is conveniently located just adjacent.

Banquet Hall & Kitchen
Tucked beneath the Chapel, the Banquet Hall is a clean versatile space that quietly makes weddings run smoother. At 36 feet by 36 feet, it comfortably seats up to 65 guests, making it an ideal setting for rehearsal dinners. Its direct connection to the prep kitchen makes it a natural home base for your catering team on the wedding day. A built-in projector and sound system are ready to go for slideshows, toasts, or background music - no extra equipment needed.
Caterers love our clean and organized prep kitchen that offers a clear view of the property and plenty of counter space to plate your dishes. They can seamlessly and inconspicuously monitor your event, making sure that you have everything that you need exactly when you need it.
The Banquet Hall and Kitchen are undergoing a cosmetic update to be an even more inviting indoor space for receptions, welcome gatherings, or simply an elegant backup for weather-sensitive days.
